|Details||On Thursday, Jan. 1, at approximately 12:50 p.m., deputies responded to a shooting at 2530 Bammelwood Drive. Upon their arrival they learned that an unknown suspect had shot and killed 12-year-old Deunte Cooks. Deputies learned there was a second victim, identified as 23-year-old Dashawn Norwood, who was shot multiple times at the residence and fled the scene to a nearby neighbors house for help. A third victim identified as Rogerious Grant had also received a grazing gunshot wound. Both Grant and Norwood were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Investigators are searching for a person of interest known only as “Chirp”, who might be able to help investigators solve this crime.
