A pedestrian hit by a car Oct. 14 on Highway 6 died in the hospital today, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, Anthony Morse, was walking across Highway 6 North in the 8000 block when a female driver struck him.
“Morse was crossing the 8000 block of N. S.H. 6 on foot traveling from west to east. Tiffany Anderson was operating a Dodge Challenger traveling northbound in the center lane of the 8000 block of N. S.H. 6,” HCSO Deputy C. Hughes reported. “Morse failed to yield right of way to a motor vehicle as he crossed the 8000 block of N. S.H. 6 and crossed the oncoming path of Anderson. Morse was struck by the front right section of the Dodge. Morse was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital by Lifeflight helicopter in critical condition.”
The case remains under investigation by the HCSO’s Traffic Enforcement Division.
