Harris County Sheriff’s Office homicide investigators arrested a man today believed to be responsible for last month’s murder of a good Samaritan in east Harris County.
Dondre Williams, 22, was arrested Monday morning and is charged with murder for the September 12 shooting death of Mark Anthony Horton.
On Sept. 12, at around 6 a.m., deputies responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Frankie in east Harris County. When deputies arrived, they found Horton, 49, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Horton was shot and killed while attempting to stop what he believed to be a robbery in progress.
Williams is being held in the Harris County Jail on a $50, 000 bond.
