|Details:||On December 1, 2014, at approximately 1456 hrs., a 2003 Saturn, which was being operated by the complainant, was traveling southbound on Foxbrick Ln. At approximately the same time, a 2008 Mazda was traveling westbound on FM 1960. The Saturn entered FM 1960 into the path of the Mazda. The front of the Mazda struck the left side of the Saturn and both vehicles came to rest in the westbound lanes of FM 1960. The complainant was found with no signs of life on the scene. The driver of the Mazda was not injured and the front right passenger in the Mazda was transported to Houston Northwest Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. This case is currently being investigated by the Traffic Enforcement Division of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.|

|Details:||On Sunday, November 30, 2014, at approximately 1715 hours, the Complainant was operating a 1996 Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the westbound inside lane in the 39200 block of the Northwest Freeway main lanes. The complainant was approaching stopped traffic in the westbound inside lane and began skidding towards the westbound outside lane. The complainat lost control of the motorcycle causing the motorcycle to land on its side and slide down the roadway. The complainant was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from the motorcycle. The complainant was transported to North Cypress Medical Center by Waller EMS and pronounced deceased at 1810 hours. This case remains under the investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Traffic Enforcement Division.|
Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 1100 North Sam Houston Parkway service road about 7:15 p.m. on Sunday.
The female victim, 57, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
“According to witnesses, the victim was driving a gray Chevrolet Trailblazer eastbound on the North Sam Houston Parkway service road when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway,” HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant W. Shields and Officer O. Sulaiman reported. “The vehicle struck the right curb, went to the left across three lanes of traffic, went over the left curb, and then struck the freeway wall. The victim died at the scene.”
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5900 Rampart about 12:25 a.m. on Saturday.
The victim, Jose Reyna Moreira, 25, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address,” HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Dykens and J. Young reported. “Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Moreira deceased. Witnesses reported seeing two possible suspects flee the scene on foot. Both suspects are described only as black males. One was approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. The other male was approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing a white shirt and khaki pants.”

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 3500 Paul Quinn about 3:40 p.m. on Sunday (Nov. 30).
The female’s identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
“HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a body found along a wooded pathway south of the above address,” HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Hassig and Officer T. Miller reported. “The body was found to be in an advanced state of decomposition.”
The investigation is continuing.

Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 166 Winkler Drive about 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
“Officers responded to a person down call at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim lying in the parking lot,” HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Meeler and Officer V. McLean reported. “Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. He had been stabbed.”
The victim, described only as a Hispanic male, had no identification on him. He is believed to be in his mid to late 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. He was wearing a brown and tan striped sweater and black jeans.

Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 6600 Gulf Freeway about 9 p.m. on Sunday (Nov. 30).
The identity of the female victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
“The victim was either attempting to cross the Gulf Freeway or walking in the main lanes when she was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling south on the Gulf Freeway,” HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Roberts and Senior Police Officer J. Ganoa reported. “The driver did not stop. A wrecker driver stated his truck also struck the victim. He remained at the scene and was questioned and released.”

The fatal shooting of a female at 4002 Corder at 8:05 a.m. today will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The deceased female, Amber Benford, 22, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers responded to a shooting at the above address and learned Ms. Benford had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest during a domestic dispute,” HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer M. Condon and Officer W. Gilbert reported. “The male shooter stated he wounded Benford after she attacked him with a knife. The male had cuts to his hand from defending himself.”
