A 21-year-old man died after wrecking his car in Kingwood this morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
The victim crashed at 2:29 a.m. as he was taking the Northpark Drive exit off U.S. 59, HPD reported. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The victim was driving a black BMW 7 sedan northbound on the Eastex Freeway when he attempted to exit at Northpark.” HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Rossman and Officer M. Serafine reported.. “He lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and then struck a tree.”
The victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
