A man wanted in the Dec. 8 fatal stabbing of his wife and abduction of his infant son was arrested in central Mexico tonight, according to the Houston Police Department.
Mexican authorities located and arrested the suspect, Patrick Lambert, at about 5:30 p.m. with the assistance of the FBI, HPD reported.
The missing child, Achilles Lambert, was also located in Mexico and is reported to be in good condition.
“Through the combined efforts of the HPD Homicide Division, the Houston office of the FBI, and the Harris County District Attorney’s Special Crimes Division, Achilles Lambert was located in Queretaro, Mexico, where he was abandoned by his father,” HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Robles and C. Hassig reported. “Patrick Lambert was also taken into custody at a separate location in Mexico.”
Patrick Lambert was being sought for questioning in the stabbing death of Anastacia Oaikhena Lambert, 27, of the above address.
Both Patrick Lambert and baby Achilles will be returned to Houston at a later date.
The investigation is continuing.
