Triple-fatality wreck in Spring blamed on speed, 2 high schoolers dead

Three people died Wednesday afternoon including two high school students in a car accident along the northbound feeder road of I-45 at Paramatta in the Spring area, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Two of the victims, Sarid Shahdaia and Quincy Williams, were juniors at Dekaney High School where they also played varsity football. Shahdaia and Williams were passengers in Larry Jessamy’s Chevrolet Camaro. Jessamy also died in the accident.

“In the early afternoon hours of Dec. 3, a white colored Chevrolet Camaro was traveling northbound in the 17900 block of the North Freeway frontage road in Spring in the right lane at a high rate of speed,” Deputy D. Wilkie reported. “A van was traveling in the center lane. According to the driver of the van, she noticed that the Camaro was approaching her real fast. The driver of the van advised that the Camaro struck a curb and then sideswiped her vehicle causing the Camaro to loose control. The Camaro rotated counter-clockwise, struck a curb and overturned and struck a concrete pillar with the top of the vehicle. All three occupants of the Camaro was pronounced deceased at the scene from the injuries that they sustained in the crash.”
