MEDIA ALERT: Police Chief McClelland to Welcome Cadets to Training Academy

At 8 a.m. on MONDAY (October 13), Houston Police Chief Charles A. McClelland, Jr. will welcome dozens of police recruits to their first day of training in the department’s 221st Police Academy Cadet Class.

The class of 66 men and women will gather in room #434 at the L.D. Morrison, Sr. Police Training Academy at 17000 Aldine-Westfield Road.

The cadets will undergo 26 weeks of rigorous training prior to graduation.
