A man shot at 12700 Dairy Brook about 6:45 p.m. last Tuesday (Sept. 30) has died.
The victim, Alfredo Solano, 18, of Houston, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.
“A group of males at the above location got into a physical fight which broke up and the males separated,” HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. A. Holbrook and Officer K. McDonald reported. “A few hours later, two males returned to the scene and fired multiple shots toward the residence where the fight had occurred. Mr. Solano, who was not part of the earlier fight, was struck by the gunfire.”
The suspects are described only as two black males, one wearing a red bandanna. They fled in a gray four-door vehicle.
Investigators are also seeking information on a male victim assaulted earlier in the evening by a group of males living in the area of the shooting.
Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
