|Details:||On Saturday September 27, 2014, at approximately 0140 hours, Rodolfo Arzate was operating a gold Toyota Camry, at a high rate of speed, westbound in the 4100 block of Little York Rd. Dwayne Brown was operating a black Lexus GS300 westbound in the 4100 block of Little York Rd. Arzate failed to drive in a single lane and the driver’s side of the Toyota struck the passenger’s side of the Lexus. After the Toyota struck the Lexus, Arzate attempted to steer away from the Lexus, then over corrected, and entered into a yaw. The Toyota then continued to travel westbound, in front of the Lexus, exited the roadway, and crashed into the ditch in the center grass median. The Toyota came to a final uncontrolled rest, on its roof, at the bottom of the water filled ditch.
Arzate was found on scene with no signs of life. Brown showed no signs of impairment on scene and was released.
This case is open and is currently under investigation.
